It depends on the type of Dachshund u get. Miniature are smaller and don't get as long as a regular. Regulars can be a little more then a foot when full grown and miniatures can be bout a foot or a little smaller. Thanks for the great question! By KAM

About as old as any other Dachshund, 12-14 year. Maybe, if you take care of it, a little longer. :)

Technically, a dog can be bred her first heat cycle. But you should wait until she is done growing when she is about 2 or 3 years old.

They usually live an age of 10-13 years. Even though, They have many health problems. I once had a personal friend that had a daschund, but it went blind after a while.

Dachshunds, especially Miniature ones, live to a very old age. The World's oldest dog is a Dachshund, and most Dachshunds live to be over 15 years old.
