A:Horses need to drink several gallons of water each day, between 4 and 8 or even 10 gallons. They lose water when they urinate, sweat, ect. and must replace this daily.

Yes, horses can get thirsty. That is one reason why we keep water basins in their stalls. from all of the running around that they do......... I would get thirsty too!

Of course, they are living things, and all living things need water to live. Plus, horses run a lot, and they do very fast for a long time, so you can bet they drink a lot of water.

A rabbit should always have access to clean, cool, fresh water in a clean container (a bowl or bottle). The only way you can tell that your rabbit is thirsty by seeing him or her drink.
