No. Actually, a bichon frise is hypoallergenic, or has hair instead of wool or fur.
Shelters often have Bichon Frise dogs, as well as Humane Societies. There are specific Bichon Frise rescue organizations including: Bichon Frise Rescue Ranch and Bichon Frise Rescue me.
No Bichon Frise dogs and toy dogs or inside dogs mainly . I have one and shes inside most of the time execpt when she needs to do her business on the grass.
No
Bichon Frise puppies typically have white fur, but it is possible for some puppies to have tan markings. These markings may appear on areas such as the head, ears, or tail. Ultimately, the coloration of a Bichon Frise puppy can vary.
A bichon is a member of a class of toy dogs with curly or wavy hair and long curled tails.
Chinese Crested or Bichon Frise
No. It's fur can shed if you don't take good care of it's long curly fur.
I have a Bichon Frise and he LOVES any dog. You should likely get another small dog. Another Bichon would be great. Mine is very submissive & takes a lot of play abuse from other dogs, so it depends on how your dog behaves with others. He loves his friend who is a Daushaund, but she likes to bite on his ears and loves to bite on his poofy fur! So be careful. my bichon is different. Mine only likes mellow dogs. Like a old golden retriever across the street, my dog loves. but growls at yippy and hiper dogs.. you know, all bichons are different.
The Barbet and the poodle.
YES YES YES! Bichon's are awesome and really cute!AND....they don't shed!!! So no fur to clean up and no fur gets on your clothes when you hold them! Plus, they are hypoallergenic which means people who are allergic to dogs are not allergic to Bichons. If you end up getting a Bichon Frise, I highly suggest you give your Bichon the "puppy cut" when groomed. That what my Bichon has. It is the cutest hairstyle (in my opinion). I think it's much better than the other style with lots of fur. It's cuter, easier for the dog to see, doesn't get tangled or matted as much, etc. But however you cut your Bichon's hair is up to you. I just suggest the "puppy cut".Bichon's are great dogs. I love my Bichon Frise. She is amazing. The best dog in the world. She is a loving, caring, sweet, protecting dog.I really suggest you get a Bichon Frise. You won't regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!PS- if your Bichon Frise has "tear stains", which are black stains under their eyes or around their mouths, then use the product called Angel Eyes. You can look it up and order online at this website:http://www.angelseyesonline.com/It's a great product. It works fantastically. I used it on my Bichon Frise and there are no more tear stains! I highly suggest it. It's probably one of the best tear stain removers out there.
No not all dogs shed fur. The Poodle, Bichon Frise, etc., are all dogs that do not shed. Many people with allergies feel if they get a dog that doesn't shed they won't have allergies, but it's the dander (dead skin cells) from the dog that cause the allergies.
