Nope. White tigers and white lions are different breeds of large cats. Just like regular lions and tigers are different, and look different (male lions have manes, tigers have stripes for instance), the white versions of each are also different.
A genetic defect makes them white. They are really Bengal tigers. no the white tiger and the Bengal and the same people get them micst up the Bengal is the same as the white tiger they just have a differint name

Siberian tigers live in deciduous forests, and are not white. All of the wild white tigers were Bengals.
White Bengal tigers inhabit a range of ecosystems including grasslands, mangrove swamps, and tropical forests. They rely on dense vegetation for hunting and camouflage, and benefit from water sources for drinking and cooling off. Their ecosystem also includes a diverse range of prey species such as deer, wild boar, and water buffalo.
They usually have blue eyes, a pink nose, and creamy white fur covered with chocolaty coloured stripes. They are very rare. To see what white tigers look like go to the related link below.
white tigers are not dangerouse unless really hungry or you look like you will hurt them or their babies and never let them smell a wierd scent on you.And if you are in the wild and see a tiger back away slowly unless it attacks.
We would be willing to tell you something about Bengal tigers, but if you want to know all about them, then you should look them up on google.com and read some more serious reference material.
All white tigers have blue eyes, it is not a species, just a variation of the normal Bengal tiger. It is a recessive gene that sometimes brings problems such as cleft palate, scoliosis or crossed eyes.
White Bengal get their colors from a recessive genetic "mutation" that makes them unable to survive in the wild because they stand out and can't camouflage to hunt. However, they are not albino - they are actually leucistic. While albino animals have lessened black or dark coloration and have red or pink eyes, leucistic animals have all lessened colors and blue eyes. There are many beautiful, fascinating leucistic animals other than Bengal tigers, such as white peacocks, that can be very interesting to look at as well.
A white tigers ears does nothing but twitch and make the white tiger look adorable
