Dolphins use several forms of communication, they use body language to some extent in close proximity to other individuals, and from longer distances they use a complex series of whistles which scientists are currently working on interpreting. As previously stated, dolphins produce some sound that is either too high or too low for the human ear to detect, (either in intra or ultrasound range) this sound can be detected by wideband recording devices which are then raised/lowered in octave to an audible pitch.
Dolphins use sound waves which bounce off other objects such as fish, or other dolphins, and come back to them. They can tell how far away another object is too, since their eyesight isn't very good. They can use this to find food.
They also talk to each other by making sounds with their mouths. They have their own. I guess you'd call it secret language, and apparently only dolphins understand it
they can't talk in human language, but they can make weird noises.
if you have a special bond with dolphins you could but they cant talk English but you can tell by there body movement and stuff
They "talk" to them in a series of clicks and squawks.

they talk like dolphins swimming on the land
Dolphins don't talk but they communicate with other dolphins by combining clicks, pops and more sounds. --hope that helps (: they don't really use the clicks they make to talk though, it is see how close things are to them so they can avoid them when in dark water and unable to see.
