Horses sense danger by using all of their senses just as we do. Say a predator is hiding in the bush. A horse will either hear, or see the fox. Sometimes, your horse will have that extra sense of not feeling OK. Just as if you were walking down the street and feeling like your followed. In fact horses will most likely find things faster than you ever will!

Horses can smell, feel and sense fear in other animals, people included. If you're scared when in the saddle, they will feel it in your muscles and movements.

A horse will know if you're scared by your scent, muscle tenseness, breath rate and your posture in the saddle.

How can you change your riding level?

If you are talking about horse riding you can't change level over night it takes time and effort If you have a horse riding instructor he or she will tell you when s/he thinks its time for you to be examined. If you don't check out some old tests for references. Hope this is the answer you are looking for! What to do when horse rares up?

I'm guessing you meant 'rearing' ? if you are riding lean forward and talk to the horse calmly! dont scream as this could make it bolt. Try to make the horse walk on. DO NOT tell the horse off! it was proberly scared of something. If the horse does this repeatedly I would suggest getting its teeth, back and saddle checked. Also check your riding as you could be the one making it rear!If you are leading the horse get out of the way!! try to keep hold of the lead rope but not to hurt youself! Walk the horse on confidently and praise him! Again the horse may of been scared of something of his back may hurt. :)Blue's Answer:I agree to this but you need to make sure the horse knows its okay and relax if your riding. Also if you don't take charge of the horse right away the horse might start rearing everytime you get on. You really need to take charge and if the horse tries it again don't let him, make him turn in a circle. Hope this helps!Blue

What do you do if your afraid of your horse?

Keep away from your horse until you are confident. Trying to force yourself to go near your horse will ruin him and yourself. Horses can tell if you are confident or scared, and if you are scared or nervous, he will be to. He will also gain domination over you. You should go to some natural horsemanship classes, or, if it is just that horse you are afraid of, sell him on to somebody more experienced and buy a quiet schoolmaster.

How do you tame the horse on wild wes tisland?

Talk to the person standing next to the horse. He or she will tell you if you can tame him, you can have him. You then get on the horse, and keep your mouse in the circle for a while. When the horse stops, you have earned the horse, and his trust.

When you go horse riding can you choose your horse?

It all depends on the stable. If you could specify the stable I could tell you. Often you can request horses, and at some stables you ride the same horse for every lesson. But if your riding that horse disrupts it's regular schedule, you probably shouldn't ride it. Horses are used to regular routines, and like to stick with them. However, if that horse is in it's stall and ready to be ridden, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be allowed to ride him/her.

What do you tell a girl if she is scared?

How can you tell your on the right diagnal in horse back riding?

When in a posting trot, you can check to make sure you're on the right diagonal by looking down. If your horse's inside front leg is coming back toward its body while your seat is out of the saddle, then you are correct. It will also be more comfortable. Similarly, if your horse's outside front leg is stepping forward in the trot at the same time as your seat is out of the saddle, this is also correct.
