Red pandas, just like normal pandas, eat bamboo but are known to also be omnivorous, eating eggs, birds, insects, and small mammals. You've...befuddled me with your second question of what they do. I mean they do what all other animals do; sleep, eat, and dispose of wastes. Also I'd just like to add red pandas are extremely smaller than the general black and white panda you'd think of and also are classified in the raccoon group in addition of the bear group.
Pandas are Herbivore because all they eat is Bamboo (which is a plant)
Panda Bears eat bambo so they are herbivores
omnivore
