yes as a matter of fact. I love English bulldogs. They may be stubborn, and hard to train, but they have a big, loving, playful heart. They are sweet, and very good with children. when ever my cousins come over, the first thing they do is play with and say hi to my English bulldogs. They maybe chubby and lazy and wrinkley, but underneath all those wrinkles, is all the best qualities you ever find in a dog. mine arent just dogs, their my companions.their my family.their my best freinds. although they do require a lot of care too.

why kids should have an English bulldog It sorta depends on what dog you get, but once an English bulldog knows a group of people, they are very nice and comfortable. bulldogs may look mean, but they're adorable, nice pets. yes, they do bite quite a bit, but most of the time it's only because you startled them or caught them off guard. they like to play and run around until they hit a certain age, then they slow it all down. they are fun and easy to love, because they let you relax. they don't run away as much as other dogs.

why kids shouldn't have an English bulldog a bad thing about bulldogs for kids is that they only live for about 8 years. plan this before you get one. also they sometimes pick one person in the family that they really like. bulldogs are very very expensive. they shed a lot. they aren't the kind of dog who will go on walks and play fetch. they don't really like busy houses and new people/guests.

It really depends on the dog and their health condition- an English bulldog puppy loves to go on walks but a senior bulldog might choose a nap over a walk around the block. Of course walks are essential in keeping your dog healthy, so even if the dog doesn't want to go on one that's no excuse not to take them.

Some English Bulldogs like to swim, but typically, Bulldogs can not swim. They are heavily built dogs who just can't keep themselves afloat. When they are near water, they need to wear life vests for their safety.

Some English Bulldogs do like to swim, others do not, as with any breed of dog. Bulldogs have short muzzles and a dog life jacket is essential to keep the muzzle and head above water, for bouyancy protection and to stop the dog swallowing too much seawater.
