It's best not to breed them, it can be dangerous for the mother and babies. Always get guinea pigs of the same sex to prevent anything from happening. Or if you have male and female guinea pigs already, get them fixed or always keep them separate. But males will start trying to mate at 3-5 weeks old, it's safest for females to have babies at about 5 months old. I wouldn't recommend doing it though.

First a guinea pig would take a while to get used to the new guinea pig, but I'll tell you they wouldn't HATE each other.
