what would you be giving this to your pet for? If for pain there are other things that are less money for pain and you can get an RX from your vet for generic meloxicam tablets 7.5 mg you break in half, these are human med's, and a 90lb dog would take only 1/2 tablet. Price is $ 4.00.

No, human painkillers aren't suitable for animals, they can do a lot more damage than good. If your dog is in pain take them to the vet and they will give something to help but reallydon't give them ibuprofen.

Ibuprofen is intended for humans. However larger breeds of dogs can tolerate ibuprofen in smaller doses, one pill to be more exact. Consult with vet about your dogs weight and size with medications. Remember, animals react different to meds than we do.
