With a sand bath. Gerbils clean and groom themselves and you should certainly never bath them with water. Offer them a shallow dish filled with chinchilla sand (not dust) and they will roll themselves around in it and get their fur clean. It won't harm them to eat the grains, but you'll need to remove it if they start fouling it.

No. Although pet stores often recommend you give them dust baths it's often just a way to make more money. Gerbils are desert animals but they've been domesticated as pets for over 50 years and they're very fastidious like cats so they don't need to be bathed.

Gerbils probably can take baths, but they hate them. Gerbils, like cats, clean themselves, so you do not need to wash them. However, if they got extremley dusty or dirty, take a damp cloth and wipe them clean.

You don't. They bathe themselves. What you can do is a buy a sand bath, they'll play around in the sand and get clean. You can usually buy these at pet stores

Yes, it's possible to give gerbils baths. But it's extremely dangerous to them and it would be better not to. They do prefer grooming themselves though. At the store they have special sand they play and bathe in. I think that the sand makes their fur shinier and more beautiful. You can also groom them with special gerbil combs.

Generally gerbils do not need baths, but if they got into something and absolutely need a bath, I would consult a veterinarian first. And get some leather gloves because they will probably try to bite.

Wash out any cuts, first. Then consider if you still want your gerbils. There is not a known way to "cure" your gerbils, so to stop biting, you should a., give them away or b., suffer! (You can give unwanted gerbils back to the petstore.)
