Absolutely not.Human painkillers are far too strong for animals (except some apes).

If your dog is in pain, you should go to the vet to treat it. Painkillers are only temporary and will only hide the pain for a couple of hours - they do not treat the problem causing the pain.

Can you give antacids to dogs?

Do not give any human drugs, medicines, vitamins, etc., to a dog without the express instruction of a veterinarian. Antacids suppress the formation of acid in the stomach, which can predispose the dog to stomach and intestinal infections. Also, dogs rarely have problems with over-production of acids, so this will rarely have any benefit for the dog. Finally, antacids available to humans are dosed out for human needs - the doses for dogs are often very different.
