Dogs can eat pretty much any vegetables except for onions and chocolate. (That's a vegetable, right?) And go very light on the garlic, if you use any at all. Oh, and no grapes or raisins. Also, soy, wheat, corn, and dairy can cause problems in many dogs.

Most dogs love cooked sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, green beans, peas, lentils, black beans, brown rice, oatmeal, apples, and bananas.

There is a product called Prozyme that contains enzymes that help dogs digest starch and other nutrients in plants.
