Yes. Years ago, I had the unfortunate pleasure of coming into contact with someone with scabies and I contracted them. Because you don't start to itch for a couple of weeks, I didn't know I had them and continued to cuddle up to my dog as normal. I saw my GP and was diagnosed, and within a couple of days, my dog started incontrollably scratching, so I took her to see the vet. She had scabies too, and had to be treated, bless her. So I know that you can pass scabies onto your dog!
