Can dogs go on trains

Not on Amtrack, the largest passenger train service in the United States. Can I bring my pet onboard? Only service animals are permitted onboard. We allow trained service animals accompanying passengers with disabilities in all customer areas in our stations, trains and Thruway motorcoaches. Never assume a pet will be permitted. Ask before you make your reservations. ------ Yes, sometimes if they are really little, but they have to check the dog and it cannot come out of the carrier usually.

It depends on what train in which country you're talking about. Some trains allow all dogs in all or certain passenger cars, and require a small fee to be pay. Others require all dogs to be cleaned, muzzled and kept on a leash. Some trains do not allow any dogs on board at all.

Check with the regulations of your train company before taking your small dog for a ride.
