Typically dogs with thick, double coats will lose their undercoat during hot weather. Even dogs with less hair will lose some of it during the heat, but they should never lose enough hair that bare skin is showing.

Some dogs will go back into heat soon after having puppies, even if they are still nursing them. In that case, it is normal for a dog to start to bleed after 4 weeks of having puppies. If the blood smells bad, looks odd, or if your dog seems ill, call your vet since she could be in need of treatment for an infection or other problem.

What should you do to the male mice well the female mice gave birth?

The male should have been separated from the female before she gave birth. But if you didn't do that, then the male should be separated before the female is done giving birth because females go into postpartum estrus (heat) after giving birth and can become pregnant again immediately. If the male is with her after giving birth, then she is most likely pregnant again. Back to back pregnancies can possibly kill the female or lead to babies less likely to survive.
