I don't think you can generlise with breeds, all dogs are individuals. I have a staffy bull that was brought up with other animals, I had 2 cats when she was a puppy she used to lay by the fire with them. I now have guinea pigs in open topped C&C cages and she is absolutely brilliant with them. Ofcourse this may not apply to ALL staffordshire bull terriers. It depends how they were treated from puppies.
Guinea pigs are born with fur, eyes open and teeth.
yes , canaries are very smart some are know as the lower level in the smart zone yes canaries can open cages
They can be left alone in a secure place, in a room, run or hutch, but don't leave them in the open where cats could get them and they could escape.
Because they have no hands or fingers to open the latch.
My cats eat and sleep inside, but we open the door for them in the morning. They can come and go as they like. But if you want them to be they can be solely inside cats.
Either put it on a leash so you can keep doors open, not leave doors or windows without screens open, buy a cage for it that it can go in when it is outside. The cages are not bad at all. Look up Foster and Smith's. They have some great things for cats.
They usally find it in open spaces like the plains.

put one upside down on top of the other. But if it has a roof, open the doors all the way, and push the cages together
usually when a guinea pig dies its eyes are open, but if it died sleeping then its eyes should be closed.
some hamsters are trained but if the latch on the cage is shut then no
