It depends actually, it doesnt have a clear and obvious answer to it. As most people know, cats love devouring fishes, it's a nature to all cats but i realized that cats do not really like raw fish, they like the cooked one. As if having a tongue of ours, they could actually vomit because of it's noisome taste ( stench ).
So, i do think it's quite okay for people to put their cats near a fish tank ( cats are a mouse with water ) as long as it's adequately fed....
