Most Shiba-Inu's get sick in the heat. Don't cover them with blankets and if they're outside for too long make sure they have plenty of water. If not the dog will probably throw up.

It is possible to keep a Shiba Inu in a hot environment. However, this is generally not recommended as this breed of dog has a low tolerance of heat.
