i have 2 geckos, one is an adult female and one is probably 8 months old or so. the little one is not friendly, he has tried to snap at me (they can't really bite that hard), and does not let me touch him or move him out of the cage. the adult female, however, is very friendly, has been with me a bit longer, and lets me hold her and lift her in and out of the cage without hesitation. in fact, when i put my hand towards the cage, she walks towards me and puts her two hands up for me to grab her. I'm not sure if she's an unusual exception for friendly geckos who will stay on your arm as you walk around the house. my little one certain acts much different at his age than the adult female did when i first got her as a baby.
