YES. camels are indengered because the number and population is decreased for last couple of years in Africa and Asia and this two cotenents are was the most hosted and carring this type of creatures, theres are many deseases, drought and camel life became hard so the breeding and and number of births became less.

The question is subjective. Are dogs harmless? Generally, yes.

However agitated camels are known to bite, kick, and spit. And when they spit, it's not actually saliva, it's partially digested food and liquid regurgitated from one of their fore-stomachs.

So...while a domesticated camel may be relatively harmless, it still remains possible for the animal to cause serious lacerations, broken bones, and infection.
