It depends on how old or how mature your children are. Babies and young kids should be extremely careful around all pets, [except maybe fish] but older kids from teenagers of 6-18 should be fine. if you're still worried about your child, just stay in the same room as your child when they're playing with their pets.
!
No, a teacup Yorkie is "good" for kids. These dogs are just far too tiny for kids who could injure them & possibly kill them as they are far too fragile. Teacup dogs are bred for size with no concern over their health and temperament, making the risk of biting higher than a dog bred for health and good temperament. It is unlikely that a child would have the patience to take care of a dog so small. Parents SHOULD NOT get a dog so small for kids.
Even though I am not a big fan of "small" dogs, it will still be safer to have such a small dog because a big dog may be/ do a bad thing to the baby. A big dog can injure a 2 or 3 year old due to its size, whereas a small dog won't be able to.
