It depends which sort of animals your talking about, dogs have canine teeeth mainly ecause they are canine's, and that helps them to chew meat, same as past time dinosaurs and snakes, maybe possibly cats as they are meat eaters coz mice are meat, so that means they are carnivors. But animals that like eating fruit and hay, like gerbils hamsters rabbits and gueni pigs, horses probably not included are herbivors.
