a girl should always have these things, in case of emergency.

Sanitary items:

you should always keep a few pads or tampons in your bag in case you period sneaks up on you. it is a good idea to have a few, even when it is not that time of the month because sometimes your friends need them in emergency too.

Hygiene items:

it is a good idea to keep sanitary wipes or a small bottle of dettol in your bag for when things get dirty. it is also good to keep a few band aids or spray band aid in your bag so your cuts and scratches don't get infected.

Make up:

most girls wear make up, and if you do it is always a good idea to keep some simple lipgloss, mascara and concealer in you bag. if you wear a lot of makeup you might also want to keep foundation, eyeshadow, eye liner, lip liner and any other products you use. sometimes you need to do quick touch ups between classes

Beauty:

most girls have a compact hairbrush in their bags as well as hairspray, bobby pins and hair ties. some times you may wish to also keep a ribbon or head band too.

other:

deodorant is a must have- because there is nothing worse than walking around smelling atrocious, and not being able to do anything about it. I suggest a small spray on or roll on, but spray on can be better as you cant share a roll on. most people also have safety pins and nail files /clipper too. it is a great idea to keep a really small fold up umbrella too in case it stars raining. also keep a small bottle of sunscreen so your beautiful skin doesn't get burnt.

Mints:

mints or a breath freshener is a must have for most girls, and they are usually in very small packets which is another plus.

Wallet:

in you wallet as well as any cards that you keep, it is a good idea to keep some note paper, a mini address book and a mini calender. sometimes if you have braces or a mouth appliance it is a good idea to have tooth picks so you don't have to pick food out with you fingers. always keep a small amount of money for emergencies only and an unused bus/tram/train ticket hand- its ten times cheaper than a taxi!
