That depends. If the sunscreen if over 3 oz then you can't take it in your hand luggage. But if it weighs less than 3 oz than you can.

The 3 oz rule also applies to lotions, toothpastes, and water bottles, and anything in little bottles such as makeup tubes, perfume, or cologne.

In the UK, no. You will have to put it in your hold luggage.

You can as long as it is packed properly as expected and the amount is allowed under the restrictions of TSA or the airline about luggage.
