We use and interpret body language all the time; it comes with growing up, for most of us. People who are dealing with issues related to the autism spectrum often have difficulty with this.

What makes body language so interesting is that it is usually happening below the conscious level. It's more of a gut-response kind of reaction to visual cues we get from others. There are books and articles on the subject that will tell you more than can be related here.

To use body language effectively, observe the person's posture, gestures, facial expressions, and eye contact. Interpretation involves considering the overall context and looking for patterns or discrepancies between verbal and nonverbal cues to understand the person's true feelings or intentions. Remember that body language is not always definitive and may vary based on cultural differences or individual traits.

What is the main reason that attitudes are more often revealed in spoken rather than writing language?

Attitudes are more often revealed in spoken language than in writing because spoken communication allows for tone of voice, intonation, and nonverbal cues to convey emotions and attitudes more effectively than written messages. When speaking, individuals have the ability to use vocal inflections and body language to express their feelings, which can be harder to interpret in written language.
