This affects farmers because they work very hard to earn their keep and therefore they rightfully deserve their produce. This act lowers the farmer's income since now he has nothing or less to sell and therefore less to earn, the farmer now has to spend extra money on re-growing these crops to continue having a normal or needed lifestyle.
