that has to be san juan because it's the biggest city in PR. and big cities have higher crime rates.

PS-PR seems very safe to me, though the people seem paranoid about crime and are very concerned with safety. lots of bars on windows and locked gates. i dont go walking in 'bad' areas, though. there is an area called la perla, near old san juan, which has a bad rep, but i wonder if it is deserved. it looks charming from outside. but everyone says 'stay out'. i bet it's an urban myth that people just keep repeating until everyone believes it.

No myths about crime in Puerto Rico. the whole metropolitan area is contaminated with crime. the worst crime rate at the present time is carolina, Loiza y ponce, but it can change in the morning cause they are head to head. Puerto Rico has gone from bad to worst.no moral values. A lawless land. Cuba is a lot more civilized. Its the new Iraq of the carribean.
