You cannot send actual letters to inmates in Pleasant Valley Prison in Coalinga, California through Jpay. You can however email them, if the prison participates in that program. To find out if they participate you will need to have the inmates ID number and type that in on the Jpay site.

You can't. You can send "email" to inmates within the Federal prison system and in some states as well. But they have no access to a computer therefore the emails you send are simply printed out and given to the inmate as if it were regular post office mail.
