sending unit bad on top of fuel tank
Why does the temperature gauge on your 2001 malibu not work and the cooling fans run all the time?
could be a bad sensor a bad gauge or a broken or disconnected wire
1993 chevy 4.3 v6 1500 truck temp gauge inoperative,
Get it fixed.
The temperature gauge will not work on a 1984 GMC Sierra truck if the sending unit is defective or the wiring has come loose. It is also possible for the gauge itself to fail, but this is less common.
Well, I own a 2001 GMC Sonoma SLS. And I've Only ever seen the SLS Model to have the 4.3L 262CI V6... The Spark Plugs are located on the side of the engine block, Kind of snuggled in the exhaust manifold.. The Easiest way to change them, is to just go at them from the wheel well.. (Very easy on my truck, 4in body lift, 6 in suspension) Idk how easy on a stock truck, other ways to do it.. is to remove fenders or remove stuff from engine compartment to make room for you to work.. Hope that helps.
Screwed into the exhaust system. Start at the exhaust manifold and work backward until you find one or more O2 sensors.
Could be the coolant temperature sensor.
Could be wrong sensor or new sensor could be faulty or the gauge it self is bad
Your gauge could be bad but more than likely it is the temperature sending unit. It is a fairly inexpensive thing to fix.
because the engine in that car does not cool down
