As with many cults the subjects are completely under the thumb of the leader. In the case of Manson he had them so brainwashed to the point where they barely had a thought of their own. They idolized Manson and for some, they were convinced he was Jesus Christ. Once Manson was arrested his followers were loyal for a while. But after being separated from their mentor they began to regain their sense of self. This led them to the realization that Manson was not Jesus, and furthermore the truth did not dwell in Manson and they had been 'had', conned. Seeing him as he really was all admiration went south.
I think so
I think it is a level of craziness as it relates to Manson and his bizzare antics.
No, he has put Marilyn Monroe (using first name) and the second part of Charles Manson to put together 'Marilyn Manson'.Marilyn Manson isn't his real name i don't think. he just took Charles' last name..some of his songs are actually about Charles.Marilyn Manson isn't his real name i don't think. he just took Charles' last name..some of his songs are actually about Charles.

I don't think so.
Charles Manson was a leader of a cult known as the Manson Family in 1969.
People think that Charles Manson is bipolar, but I personally think that his behavior shows intelligence. His quotes is what made me start to think this. Being bipolar has nothing to do with intelligence. A person can be both. Charles Manson had limited use for his intelligence in his developing years and a very rough life, which apparently drove him into negative use of his intelligence.
