The laws and policies used in a theocratic government are based on religious ideals. Regulations and courts are guided by the religious group that is prevalent in that particular theocratic society.
All these different people are able to form one country because they share many ideals, or beliefs. These ideals include freedom of speech, freedom of religion and freedom to live and work where we choose. Americans also believe in equal rights for all people.
