not if there is not a reason to. i think they should also have to get a search warrant like the law officers have to do.
Students are minors and adults are responsible for them. The locker belongs to the school and they have a right to search their property for illegal items and things that violate the school policies.
Yes. Your locker is not your property. Your locker is property of the school and you shouldn't be bringing anything to school that you wouldn't want to show the principal. Don't bring guns or drugs or anything dangerous to school.
Citizens do have a constitutional right that protect us from unreasonable searches and seizures. This means that police must get permission to search your house. But because your locker is not your property, the principal has the right to search it.
This is a very controversial subject and this is a matter of opinion but the answer should be both yes and no. Yes because sometimes schools have suspicions about a student like if they are depressed and want to kill themselves. But teachers should not be allowed to do random locker or backpack searches
Yes. A student should expect no right to privacy in their locker which is provided by the school system on public property. It is provided free by the school system as a storage place for school supplies and coats.
The school has a responsibility to ensure the safety of all the students so it is against that backdrop that student's lockers should not be protected from inspection for drugs, weapons or any other items that could cause harm.
No. Lockers take up needed space, get broken into, are set on fire, are not needed as they once were, and allow students to keep contraband In them.
Legacy Lockers is a great place to have custom wooden lockers made. Lemon Flux and Prozone Lockers are a couple of more places that also make wooden lockers and even athletic lockers that are durable.
yes because they is going to need to put their stuff and the lockers too.............
yes
They should
Lockers in school are used to store books and other supplies for school that you do not use at the time you are there. Then you go to the lockers to get what you need for your next class. In gyms for schools, they are used to store clothing and other accessories that are not allowed during gym class like phones, jewelry, and clothes that you change into when you are going to next period.
Yes and No. yes because the student might have drugs, weapons, and alcohol. No because the student might be wild, but they may not have any reason to search the students locker. They should be allowed to search their locker with a reason but without a reason they shouldn´t be allowed to search their locker.
Type your answer here... WAAAAAAAY LARGER 6th GRADE LOCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No! Lockers are private places to keep personal things. Just anyone shouldn't be able to go into your locker.
they should be allowed because some many kids have there phones mp3 ipods and everything else already in class that they should be allowed the teacheres could allow them to only use them during certain times and on certain days like only at lunch and on Fridays and Mondays and then make them put them in there lockers before tests and other things.
Well it really depends. If they have alot of books they carry then they should, but if not then no.
Our school recently changed our lockers to plastic lockers, which are vandal resistant, rust resistant and can be stored outside. They're also brightly coloured, so they look a lot better than our old rusty lockers. These are the ones we went for - http://www.action-storage.co.uk/Lockers/eXtreme-reg;-Plastic-Lockers/c-1-115-143/
