Firstly, it is advisable to perform two Raka'ahs (units) of optional prayer. Also, effort is the key to preparations. If a person relies on Du'a without effort then Allah may not help them because of the inability to pass.
Secondly, a person may recite the following Du'as in abundance, no specific time, but as many times possible throughout the day:
