here in the state of Florida the is no statue of limitation on a probation violation (SORRY)
in florida
Yes.
THERE SAFE AS LONG AS THERE NOT IN THE STATE THEY RECIEVED THE DUI
Violation of probation for DUI in Hillsborough County, Florida can result in severe consequences, including potential jail time, additional fines, community service, and extension of probation. It is crucial to comply with all terms of probation to avoid further legal trouble.
It depends on the probation, felony or misdemeanor. Either way, if you get picked up in Florida they will run a nationwide warrant check on you. If they find the po violation, they will let the that county know and they will have a set amount of days to come get you or your automatically released. Here in Texas its 10 buisness days
Yes, they could... if they wanted to. It might depend on the seriousness of the original offense and what the VOP consisted of.
In all probability, yes. All felony VOP's are extraditable.
Generally, Misdemeanor warrants are not extraditable outside the state, the National Crime Information Center (NCIC), states that only Felony warrants, or severe misdemeanor warrants, are entered into this system. i was extradited from wv to VA viginia for misdemeanor bad check. the warrent was in ncic. would a state farther away ignore this?
You will probably have your probation revoked and have to serve the remainder of that sentence behind bars PLUS whatever jail time will be added if you are found guilty of the DUI offense.
Believe it or not, you cannot get extra jail or prison time just for fleeing from a probation violation. You can for the VOP itself, but there's no difference whether you get arrested immediately, turn yourself in, or flee/abscond. Of course at any time you can be arrested, and it often happens when you least expect it.
