In order to babysit you have to be 10 years old (or older). and have your babysitting license.
That's a good guideline, but there's actually no law in Ontario that explicitly dictates an age and as far as I know there are baby sitting courses available to those who wish to pursue, but there is no babysitting license. there is a babysiting course that you enter and when this course is finished if you pass they give you a certificate.
i am pretty sure the age dosent matter but of couse it wont be someone like 7 years old but it depends on howw responsible u are

i live in half way between Toronto and Niagara falls, and there is no legal age, but you must be over 8. also, i suggest not babysitting completely alone for more then an hour until you are at least 10 or 11. however, if you're 9-11, i suggest babysitting kids between 3 or 4 and 7. i started babysitting at 9.
old enough to care for that child
you have to be 12 years old in order to babysit
You have to be 13 or older to Babysit
A babysitter should have a babysitting license before babysitting in general. There is not really a specific time.
I just called Red Cross they said you have to be 10+ or have a first aid and child care certificate! Also I am 10 and babysit in Oshawa!
On average you should babysit a maximum of three children in Ontario. If you have a day care and the proper license, you can babysit more.
