Some say that Customs Brokers earn around 60K/yr; however, this is for the employed broker at a large firm. I think that the way to go is to own your own Customs Brokerage Company. I've been working for a Customs Broker in Miami Florida for the past 4 years, and I can guarantee you my guess that this guy makes around half a million a year is pretty close to the truth. Mind you, this is the exception. This guy is Mr. Businessman, so we could say that he makes 3 to 5 times what the normal owner of a Customs Broker Company makes. What you have to have in mind is that with this business you CAN make six figures consistently if you apply hard work, discipline and moral. It is a reality and I've seen it first hand.
