different cities and towns have different laws. Most larger cities require you to have permit. Smaller towns usually don't make you have a permit. Check wih local authorities to see about your town.
yes you do
Actually depends on your town ordinance. Just because you have a yard sale without a permit does not mean one does not need to be obtained. Check with your town hall to be sure you are not fined! Some towns fine $100 per day of non-permitted yard sales.
Pretty much anywhere. You may need to get a permit from your local government first though.
i think you do because when i had my yard sale i had to get a 2 day permit for it so im pretty sure you do..
No you dont. Your allowed 3 yard sales per year at your reaidence
There is nothing on there website that says you need a permit. You may want to check eith your local government though.
This questions asks about local laws that vary from place to place. Where I am from, it is illegal to post any sign on public property, such as a lamppost or a tree. It is not illegal to have what we call a "stoop sale" (no one has yards here), as long as you live in the building in front of which you have the sale, you do not impede pedestrian or vehicular traffic and you do not offer for sale any merchandise that is illegal to sell or requires a license or permit to sell. In some places, however, you must obtain a yard sale permit from the local town hall before you can hold or advertise a yard sale.
sometimes you need a permit because you're making money in a public area. In most places there are car boot sales and you pay a small fee to sell whatever you have. the car boot sales are normally held in schools or markets.
There is no yard sale.
At a yard sale.
In some cases, Indian River County may choose not to issue a permit for a yard sale if the property is involved in a lawsuit. This decision could be due to ongoing legal proceedings affecting the property or potential liabilities associated with the sale. It is advisable to contact the county's permitting office for specific guidance in such situations.
