No. A pardon will not suffice. If you are eligible for it to occur, you must get your record expunged. Even then, not all states will restore felons' gun rights to them. NOTE: If you are a convicted FEDERAL felon, you cannot get your gun rights restored. Currently there is no mechanism in place for this to occur.

There are many jobs in Michigan that people with Felonies can not get. A person with a felony can not get any finicial licesence. There are also jobs like plumbing that felons are not allowed to have. What it really comes down to is that when a person in this "free" country becomes a felon for whatever reason they are limited in society and many of their basic freedoms that every American citizen is entilted to are taken away. I belileve that with the laws and regulations the way they are felons are having their constitutional rights stripped. SOMETHING MUST BE DONE TO CHANGE THIS!
