Because you are supposed to want to learn of your own volition; humans are naturally curious creatures inclined to learning from birth (that's why we eventually learn to walk, talk, etc). The issue is that school can go against natural learning inclinations and squash creativity/intuition with an arbitrary system. Thus, your natural desire to learn gets caught-up in a system that isn't conducive to the ways we like to learn (intuitively, indulging our curiosity, trial-and-error, etc).
Short Answer: you should want to learn for self-betterment and because of internal motivation, so money would cheat you out of that experience.

Money Bad grades Kids Time Work Apathy
Opinions by WikiAnswers contributors:I believe that students should get paid for doing well in school. We work hard to get good grades and accomplish goals for our districts. New York City even started a Pilot Program, where students in poorer communities get paid for doing well in school.Rewards are a great motivation, so in my opinion yes. Money might not be the best choice however. Reward your kids by telling them how proud you are and how good they did. And maybe add a little treat.
We shouldnt go on a saturday
because they fall behind in school work
Paying kids for good grades can lead to a focus on extrinsic rewards rather than a genuine love of learning. It may also create an unhealthy pressure to perform and could diminish the intrinsic motivation to succeed academically. It's important to promote a positive attitude towards education and encourage children to strive for success for personal growth rather than for monetary reward.

The kids who get the passes are the ones who are working, so it's not going to hurt their grades.
dogs are good companions and if the kid wants a dog I would think so
no but it helps if they suffer from injury and cannot compete, and if they don't earn enough whilst in the sport they can get a good job after In my personal opinion, I think that kids need good grades to play sports. If kids played really well in sports, but had terrible grades, they wouldn't do too well in real life. The only thing they could get a job in is sports, and if the kid doesn't make it into sports, they really can't make it into any other job because they didn't learn anything and got terrible grades in school. Plus, sport are 80% mental. If kids didn't get good grades, they wouldn't do too well in sports, either, because sports use mental abilities, which is 4/5ths of the game.
if the kids are 11 or 12 and older yes but if there yunger than 11 or ten no you shouldnt let them babysit
