She's a slightly crazy astronomer/astrologist who was fired from her job at a university. She is obsessed with aliens. She appears in MySims, MySims Party (Wii), MySims Agents, and MySims Racing.
In MySims, she is a commercial Sim who will open an observatory in your town if you move her in. In MySims Party, she hosts a mini-game called Star Gazer. In MySims Agents, she owns the ski lodge in the mountains and is obsessed with Yetis. In MySims Racing, she owns an observatory in the mountains.
(MySims Wii:) You can get Star essences two ways. If you make your sim "be nice" to Professor Nova, sometimes you will get Star essences, versus the usual Happy essences. You can also prospect for Stars behind a metal gate in the desert (on the left side of the map) which leads to a junkyard. Stars are found in the northwest corner of this junkyard (top-left of the map).
It depends what store you go to, to compare the prices. But MySims Kingdom is $10-$29.99 it varies which store you do to. And MySims is around $20. Honestly I like MySims Kingdom better than MySims, and it is cheaper. Hope this helps!

There were plans for a second MySims Agents game, but it never came out as it was replaced by MySims SkyHeroes. There may still be a MySims Agents 2, but it's unlikely.
