BE HONEST. Unless, of course, you are sick because you stayed out a little too late celebrating, then it's OK to hold back a little.
Seriously, the main thing is to be upfront with the potential employer; we know that everyone gets sick from time to time. Just besure to apologize for having to reschedule, and please don't give too many details (like graphic explanations of your particular health issues--I say this because it has happened to me. Gross!).
Hopefully you will be able to reschedule--and if not, at least you tried. Good luck!

On the fourth of July:)
Call the employer the day before the interview and tell him that the interview needs to cancelled because of conflict in schedule. Discuss how the interview can be rescheduled. In case of acceptance to another job, call the employer again and inform him of the new job taken.
You should not go to a job interview if the job requires you to be bilingual and you are not. There may be a portion of the interview where you speak the language you are unable to and will most likely fail the interview.
The benefit of a job interview is to have sex with your boss hopefully you get hired.
Simply, an informational interview is one that asks basic information about the applicant while a job interview is more of an elimination interview where the interviewers will see if you have what it takes for the position that is vacant in the company.
Just call and cancel. You don't really need to explain anything.
Job interviews do not give you qualifications. Qualifications are obtained by assessment and examination. This may take the form, in part, of an interview but it would not be a job interview.
I never heard of anyone charging to interview people for job positions.
Depending on the job interview. If its for a minimum wage job, wear business casual clothes and explain to the person doing the interview that you need the job to make some extra money. You are going to school, or for whatever reason, and you're responsible and organized and need work to fill your day. If its for a job beyond minimum wage: Rock and Roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And be verrrrrry veeeeeeerrrrrrrrrryyyyyy cool at how you articulate your understanding of what you're doing and why you're the best for the job! yay
In preliminary interview the applicant is given the job details enabling him to decide whether the job will suit him.
You could say the challenge of learning something new, the day to day interaction with people or the reputation of the company you are applying for. This isn't a critical question in a job interview, but is a warm up question.
