It really depends on what position you are looking for, either way it should be semi formal attire. Earls like any other restaurant has two main divisions which are managed by two very different people, you have the front of house or FOH which is basically everything from the hostess that greets you at the door to the expo that checks that all your food is plated and coming out properly to your requests. And then you have the back of house or BOH that goes from the dishwasher to the head chef. Depending on what team you decide to work in you will be interviewed by a different person.
I don't know if you are a guy or a girl, but I was a hostess there everyday for a very long time and got to see a lot of people coming in looking for a job and giving a bad first impression. Here are some tips:
~If you are a guy don't wear the full on suit and tie, it may show that you are trying way too hard and you will look out of place. Don't take this too seriously and go on a T-shirt and some shorts. A nice dress shirt, some jeans and a pair of formal shoes its perfect!
~ If you are a girl don't wear something too revealing or too sexy, it looks tasteless. From the tons of girls I've seen going in and out it seems that the ones that wear a simple black or dark skirt and blouse with a nice pair of heels seem more classy and are more likely to get the job.
That's what I would say for clothing, also if you can before going, print out a application form from www.earls.ca and fill it out, it looks like you did a little extra homework on them, they appreciate it. And, I'm not saying this just because I was a hostess but, BE NICE TO THE HOSTESS: before even taking your resume the manager will ask her what she thinks and sometimes if the managers are busy she will be the one annoying them a little so they can squeeze you in any extra time they have available.
Be confident and have fun!
Good luck!
Something risque.

suit with a green tie
You should wear nice clothes. Preferably church clothes. Good luck!
You've misspelled the word wear. You've written it as were.
you should not wear casual clothes it makes a bad impression on the employer if he/she thinks your not smart and clean
I think and you should know that this is my own opinion. Well to an interview, you should dress conservatively. But you can always investigate what other employers wear.
Should always dress professionally. For most white collar office jobs, should wear a business suit.
