I'm almost positive it will vary from state to state. I am from Texas, but the laws might be different where you reside. As a 15 year old, I had to apply for a license from the Texas Work Force Commission. This allowed me to work as a 15 year old. However, until I was 18, I could not work in workplaces considered "hazardous". The law also stated I could not work past 10 p.m. on weeknights, but it was not enforced. At the age of 15, you are going to have trouble finding a job, as most employers are hesitant of hiring somebody so young. After about a month of applying to anywhere that had a "Now Hiring" sign, I got a call from an ice-cream shop. I was paid minimum wage, but it sure was a lot of money to me! I think your best bet will be a Pizza, ice cream, pet, or a small hardware store. You need to apply at small places, I doubt large companies will hire you. If you are saving for your first car, like I was, good luck!!
You can try Golf courses for cutting grass ,in preparing the courses for its daily routine, are so many task that needs to be done, rake sand traps relocate new cup positions, watering fairways ans greens.Reposition tee markers, fill drinking vesails at tee boxes, picking up range balls, what makes this an ideal summer job for teens when schools out its also the courses most busiest time
Depends on the state, doesn't it?
However, if you've got the cachunka's to post this question here, I'll bet that your nitch is either into computers or the 'net itself. How much time do you spend here? Have you considered that THAT IS EXPERIENCE?
Please investigate W3Schools (search for it), which is a great source for learning something new (for free).
You might be the next Bill Gates who comes up with this new website that is the answer to thousands of people's questions.
However, if you are more earth-bound than I've written, there are the usual fast-food, laundromat, nursing home jobs...which will get you nowhere fast. Naw, I shouldn't be so negative. These jobs I just listed teach you discipline and responsibility; and important attribute to the CEO (look it up if you don't know what it means) of a new million dollar dot-com company.
For what it's worth, I'm telling you that as a parent (of kids a little older than you), that if I was your parent I'd be proud of you posting the question. It shows tremendous potential that isn't found in many your age.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hgh

No. There are many jobs that a 16 year old is not allowed to do. One example being "Captain".
Nothing you have to be 18 and older
14-year-olds are two young to apply for jobs in any state. You can try baby-sitting, mowing lawns, etc., but due to child labor laws if a 14-year-old was hired there would be too many restrictions, which is why most employers look for at least 16-year-olds.
16 year olds can't really get any online jobs.
The 15 year old can work at Chick-fil-a and the 16 year old has a variety of Choices The Galeria mall has lots of choices
None, wait till your 16.
No, you must be 16 years old to get a job.
