Let us start out by telling what you cannot do. As a minor, you cannot work at any potentially hazardous job site. In most countries child labor laws place tight restrictions on the employment of minors. Find out what is allowed for your country (and your state if you live in the US).
Here are some suggestions from a variety of WikiAnswer users:
You can wash dishes for your mum for money, or clean the car.
In some areas, you can legally do lawn and garden work, or in rural areas find work on farms.
You could offer to do "odd jobs" for people. Odd jobs are when people give you a job that they want done and you do it. You could also ask for money from doing chores. An 11year old COULD NOT BE A BABYSITTER! You need to be 13 to take on a babysitting job because, at 13 you are eligible to take a class on babysitting and CPR (just in case something goes wrong). You could offer to walk someones dogs or feed their pets while they're away. You could have a lemonade stand in the summer. You could also have a garage sale to try and make money. There are many more things you can do, just use your imagination and try to think of things that people would pay for you to do or pay for.
When I was 11 I started my own business... lawn work is a good way you can make money, if your parents own a lawnmower that you can use, then all you have to do is find the elderly people in your area who have a hard time getting out to maintain their own lawn and offer to do it for them... (I'd practice on your own lawn first, they won't hire you back if you do a really bad job) even if you charge them 5$ an hour for your first few customers, you will make enough money to cover the gas for your mower and have some spending money left over... it's also a lot cheaper for them if they don't have to hire a professional company. As long as you work hard and do a good job, they will most likely tell their friends about you as well.
There are jobs like babysitting and gardening and chores but not that many things. You can be a model but i don't think that would be the perfect job. If you wait until you are 16 there are lots more jobs.
If you ask shops, they may let you help out to give you job experience.

Kids are allowed to work in family businesses and farms. Most places require you to be at least 14 to get a work permit and to have a job. And even then the types of jobs and hours are restricted. You will have to check the laws for your state.

You are so young that I would suggest just asking your parents if you can help around the house for a little money, but if you realy want a proper job, then there are certain things you can do. These include: * ** Looking in newspapers/magazines/online (<------ BE VERY CAREFUL ONLINE AND ALWAYS TELL A PARENT/GUARDIAN WHAT YOU ARE DOING) ** Helping around the house and/or doing extra jobs for family members ** Placing adverts in shop windows (<---Do NOT give out any personal information and if you do, tell your parent/guardian.) ** Post leaflets (make sure you have a license)
In the state of Illinois it is illegal for a child under the age of 14 to work.
Any child that is 14 or 15 years of age must obtain a working permit, in order to work.
