There is no way to know what the infection rate for Holmes Regional Medical Center is because they are not required to report it.
I do have a website that tracts Acinetobacter baumannii infections and I can tell you that a surprising number of people are searching for their infection rate, searching for MRSA at Holmes, searching for C diff at Holmes, and searching for Hospital Acquired Infections in their new cardiac unit.
A friend of mine died from MRSA, C diff, and another drug resistant infection she got at Holmes in March.
Apparently their infection rate is high. If this isn't true maybe they will come on here and tell us what it is and which organisms they are spreading.
Maybe some hepatitis A to boot, and what is it that is making the staff sick.
