guided media is that media which use some physical path like coaxial cable fiber optics etc
The Unguided Interview is not planned or structured. The applicant determines the process of the interview by controlling the conversation and doing the most talking. Questions asked by the interviewer will usually follow on from the applicant's own statements.
Guided medium or wired refers to a type transmission that uses cables to send waves from the source to the destination. On the other hand, unguided medium, also called wireless, involves sending of waves through air.
1 guided, 2 unguided
advantages of guide transmission media
Guided Media : Guided Transmission Media uses a "cabling" system that guides the data signals along a specific path. The data signals are bound by the "cabling" system. Guided Media is also known as Bound Media Unguided Transmission Media consists of a means for the data signals to travel but nothing to guide them along a specific path. In a guided medium signal passes through a physical pathway(s),while in an unguided medium signal passes through a vacuum, it is independent of a physical pathway.
a rocket is an unguided weapon while a missile is a optically/ wire guided/ radar/ heat tracking weapon which is designed for precision targeting. ie: rocket pod on an AH-64 (no guidance) or Javelin missile ( Heat Tracking)
Transmission media is a device which is used to transfer the data between one computer to another computer. There are two types of Transmission media: 1. Guided Media 2. Unguided Media

advantages of guide transmission media
They could be radar guided, they could be guided by a seeker unit which locks onto heat signatures, they could actually be unguided weapons whose only 'guidance' is programming which is done prior to launch, they could be guided by GPS navigation, they could be command guided by wire (such as MCLOS and SACLOS systems like the Milan, TOW, etc.).
A missile is guided and capable of changing its trajectory during flight, while a rocket is unguided and follows a pre-determined path.
