This is asked to determine if the challenge is one that is able to be handled professionally or if the person is not able to handle the challenge that may be expected to be handled by the current job position being interviewed for.
Everyone faces challenges in their workplace from time to time. Although there is nothing wrong with admitting to challenges, you should be careful about the challenge you discuss during a job interview. You want to remain positive throughout the application process.
