It's a scam to steal your money. No such thing.
You don't, its a scam
I have a friend who buys from Craigslist. He says that he goes and people who buy, go and see the item first, before buying it. So it is not a scam.
its a legal to scam someone that works on the video shoot
They post notices and warnings about how the scam works, but otherwise CL is a passive entity in the sales process.
It's not a scam until money is exchanged and goods aren't delivered.
No it isn't. I have used it before to get a rock band set. It is actually safer then eBay in my opinion. ------------------------- While Craigslist is not a scam, there are many scammers that are using the site as a way to find their victims. The scammers do not want to invest money into ads, so sites like Craigslist offer them a place where they can post ads for items for sale, rooms for rent, employment ads or talk to people who are looking for relationships. All of these can be a way for a scammer to get to know their victim. If you ever encounter someone on Craigslist that wants you to wire them money, or sends you a cashier's check or money order and the wants you to wire a portion of that on to someone, it is a scam.
If you came across this website off of craigslist as i did, I found it to be a scam someone sent saying they wanted to buy my product and to make sure it was like the one they, wanted to check out the video he/she had at supermysite.com which i found didn't work and I'm considering it a scam.
Amazon do not offer an escrow service. The whole thing is a scam. There is no car, the advert on CraigsList is fake, designed just to get you to use his fake escrow service website and steal your money. Here are some examples of the fake escrow websites.

Its a legitimate job board. I couldn't speak to if every job a member posts on it is legitimate. Its like anything... you will find scams on Craigslist as well, but it doesn't mean everything on Craigslist is a scam... you just got to be aware and do your due diligence to protect yourself.
There is always more risk buying from craigslist than a typical store or online store. You have to use your best judgment to determine if a listing is a scam, and always be safe when going to look at the product. If you know nothing about ipods, you should bring someone along who does.
