Speculating logically though we could mention that chapter 42 tells us that God blessed Job by giving him double everything that he had by way of livestock. EG before he had 500 asses afterward he was given 1000 etc. By telling us specifically that he was given an extra 140 years and incidentally saw a fourth generation of his progeny, it could be considered logical that he was 70 years old at the time his trials befell him. This would make him 210 at his death.
The account also suggests some extra proof of a future physical resurrection to life of his first 10 children. In the resurrection he will meet his first 10 children along with his second 10.
He was given twice the number of livestock but only the same number of children, why? Because in the resurrection it will be double.
After Noah (the flood is mentioned in Job), before Moses (Job is not aware of the Laws of Moses), and probably before Abraham (Job is not a Hebrew). There are other clues (such as the monetary currency used, the emphasis on livestock over money as wealth, the Musical Instruments mentioned, Job's age, and place names) that further suggest he is from the oldest antediluvian (post-Flood) period. Jewish and Christian textual analysts have variously placed the Flood in c. 2500 BC, 3000 BC, or 4000 BC; and Abraham is traditionally said to have lived around 2000 BC (more broadly, between 2500 BC and 1500 BC). So Job seems to be from the 2nd or 3rd century BC.
